Teaching and Tutoring
VIPKID provides an international learning experience to children in China between the ages 4-12. Headquartered in Beijing, the company offers fully immersive one-on-one English language instruction provided online by highly qualified teachers. The curriculum is based on the U.S. Common Core State Standards and uses a flipped-classroom approach to foster creativity and critical thinking skills.
Teaching is conducted online and you can choose your hours. VIPKID recommends you are available for at least 7.5 hours per week and they advise you the most popular hours for bookings.
You must hold a Bachelor's Degree (in any field), be a native English speaker and have at least 1 year experience in teaching (in any field).

Requirements for teachers:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience teaching kids / K12 / Early Childhood / Elementary (preferred)
- English teaching certifications such as LET / TESOL / TEFL (preferred)Must have passion in teaching
- Availability to teach at least 33.5 hours per cutoff (each lesson lasts 25 minutes) during the following peak times: 7pm-11pm (Mon-Fri) and 9am-11pm (Sat-Sun) (China Time: GMT+8)
