Fathers Day Gift Ideas for the Pilot Dad
Special occasions can often be difficult when you're married to a pilot since we are so often apart on the actual days. At least if you can find the perfect Father's Day gift for your pilot, you're part way to still making it a special day.

I am totally in love with my Bose noise cancelling headphones and I'm sure your husband would love them too. These have 3 levels of noise cancelling so great for when they're paxing or sharing a crash pad with others. They come with a cord as well and I would recommend getting the airplane adaptor too.
Eating when on trips can be a real challenge at times when you think about how late our pilots often arrive at their hotel or how early they leave in the morning. The Hot Logic Mini Portable Oven lets them heat up home made meals (or even cook a meal) in their hotel room.
It takes around an hour to heat a refrigerated meal and won't overheat it so they can plug it in when they arrive and eat it when they're ready.
What better way to show them how much you love and appreciate them than with home cooked meals?
It will work with most containers you already have at home but you could add this set if you didn't already have something suitable.
If you're not familiar with the 5 Love Languages Series yet, I recommend a different version of the book and explain a little more about it in this post about the Best Books for Pilots' Wives.
For Father's Day I thought The 5 Love Languages of Children may be a more fitting option. So many others have also raved about the changes the 5 Love Languages have made to their relationships, definitely a beautiful Father's Day gift for your pilot.
I love the subtlety of this shirt. If you know airports and planes, you'd probably know this references the Taxiway signs. If not, it's still just a cool "Dad" shirt.
Nice for those who don't like to play up the pilot aspect of their life but you still want to get them something a little personal.
Gotta love a little bit of humour and it doesn't get much more true than this. For a little bit of a laugh this Father's Day, it would be hard to go past this "I'm a Dad and a Pilot...Nothing Scares Me" t-shirt!
If your pilot is a movie lover, this portable Movie Theatre mini projector would be a lovely way to spoil him. The projector streams Netflix, Amazon Prime Videos and Youtube and has up to 5 hours of rechargeable battery life.
It doesn't need to be connected to a computer, phone or wall outlet to operate.
The AYO Light Therapy Glasses are reported to help with low energy and sleep improvement, but what really caught my eye was how they work for jet lag prevention.
The glasses calculate the best usage times based on your flight itinerary and helps you adapt to a new timezone 2-3 times faster.
Let's be honest, this is kind of a gift for you as well because they faster your pilot is fully operational at home after a trip, the easier life is for all of us!
Looking for something special for the kids to gift? These keychains are a perfect little keepsake for your pilot to be able to always have with him on the road (in the air) to remind him of how much his kids love him.
There are a range of options available for boys, girls, more than one child and also for stepparents.
What better gift for your pilot and your family than a map that allows you to add photos of your travels and have those memories up all the time.
We are so often away from our partners with this lifestyle that a constant reminder of some of the benefits is a lovely idea.
If you have a fur child and want to do something special for your husband for Father's Day, these personalised socks with a picture of your dog's face on them would be a super fun gift. They can wear them under their uniforms and no one need be any the wiser, but they'll know!
They do humans and cats and plenty of other animal options too. You could get him a set of the whole family to last him for an entire trip!
